Jennifer is a mental health counselor specializing in work with children, teens, and caregivers. She uses play and expressive arts approaches in therapy as a way for individuals of every age to imagine and learn how to deal with life’s struggles in more manageable, creative ways. Born and raised in Greater New Orleans, she received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2016 and returned home to teach in local schools for 3 years. During this time, she discovered her passion for helping youth with behavioral struggles and supporting their loved ones through these challenges. These experiences motivated her to earn a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans in 2022 where she received the Mimi Heebe Excellence in Play Therapy award for her work with children and parents. She approaches therapy from a narrative lens which emphasizes that everyone is the expert and author of their own stories. She works side-by-side with individuals and families to help them investigate how the problems they face have impacted them in the past, what actions have helped or not helped them deal with these problems in the present, and how they wish to reshape their stories and relationships in the future.

Christine is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor with 13 years of experience. She offers therapeutic support across the lifespan—from young children to adults—and specialize in supporting early childhood and elementary-aged children in both the clinical and school settings.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of environments, including outpatient clinics and schools. My dual experience as both a mental health counselor and a school counselor has given me a deep understanding of the emotional, social, and academic needs that children face today. I support children and their families with a wide range of concerns including behavioral challenges, defiant behavior, emotional adjustment, low self-esteem, learning differences, and difficulties with peer relationships. I believe that children thrive when the adults around them are working together. That is why I place a strong emphasis on collaboration with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to create consistency and support across all environments. My approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with play-based strategies tailored to each child’s specific developmental needs. My goal is to create a safe and playful space where kids feel seen, heard, and empowered.
I also support adults navigating a broad spectrum of life challenges. These include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, women’s issues, perinatal mental health, relationship struggles, workplace difficulties, anger, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I have a deep passion for supporting individuals through periods of change and uncertainty while helping them reconnect with their strengths and develop practical tools to support long-term wellness. My style is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I approach every client with empathy, respect, and the belief that therapy is a partnership. I will be there to support you while we are working through complex emotions, learning to set healthy boundaries, or discovering new ways to cope. What makes my approach unique is the integration of evidence-based methods, such as CBT, with a holistic, wellness-oriented lens. I look at the whole person—not just symptoms—because I believe that healing involves emotional, mental, relational, and even lifestyle components. My ultimate goal is to help each of my clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
Above all, I believe in the capacity for growth, resilience, and joy at every age and life stage. If you or your child are struggling, know that you do not have to face it alone. I am here to help create a space for healing, self-discovery, and
